It was howling again. I was wondering whether to go windsurfing instead, but the thought of lugging all that awkward gear over the shingle and spending most of the session underwater trying to waterstart didn't appeal, so it was out with the 8m again.

Had a pretty good time, mainly due to the fact the lagoon filled up and it gave me a good chance to practice my turns. First off though I went out in the waves and did my FIRST ROTATION! OK, it was meant to be a slide turn, but I popped off the wave at the crucial point so just went for it! Sadly, I couldn't repeat it.

Madly windy again though, and again was cut a little short by a squall.
